The Farriers is a McMullens pub, selling Hertfordshire beer of good quality. Food is served at lunchtime and can be mighty fine. On the downside, this pub is in the grip of sports-mad locals, so the atmosphere can be unwelcoming. Historical fact: almost certainly the Farriers was the venue for the first ever CAMRA meeting in November 1972.
