Went to this pub with friends on their recommendation. There was a group of about 10 of us. Bar staff were fine and all white wine served with ice bucket (without asking) which is good. We all ordered food and went outside. Apparently if your outside you should have a number for food but we didn't. Food arrived in good time. The staff serving didn't seem to know who's was who's so I said put it down and we'll sort it out. We tucked in to what was very good pub food. Then towards the end of our meal the waiter came storming out and accused us of stealing an extra burger, finger wagging and everything. I explained I thought he was wrong however he persisted and left in a huff. It ruined the atmosphere and our meal. I complained to the manager who also continued to accuse us of theft of a burger. I protested our innocence but he backed off a little but said he should make us pay for it. We were all completely sober and had spent about £200 in his bar. We all got up to go as we were insulted and fuming only for him to come out and make another cheap accusation. Unbelievably rude, obnoxious and above all wrong. Will never go back and give custom to somewhere that has no customer service and very rude staff.
